At the August General Meeting the Sub Branch the Members voted to establish the “Bruce Kingsbury VC Bursary” to cover the costs of the trek package fees for one veteran each year to participate in the Mates4Mates Kokoda Trek in memory of Private Bruce Steele Kingsbury who won the first Victoria Cross on Australian territory during the Kokoda Campaign.  Please contact the Sub Branch on (07) 3359 0460 if you wish to be considered for this Bursary.
