Kedron-Wavell RSL Sub Branch is dedicated to supporting current and former members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF), along with their families. We provide a welcoming environment built on mateship, practical assistance and strong community ties — especially when it matters most.
Advocacy and Wellbeing Assistance
DVA Claims and Advocacy
Our experienced Advocates offer guidance and representation for Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) matters, as well as broader wellbeing concerns.
Advocate appointments are available Monday to Thursday and must be booked in advance.

All Advocates are accredited through the DVA Advocacy Training and Development Program (ATDP). They provide assistance with claims and entitlements in accordance with relevant legislation and individual service records.
We strongly recommend that all DVA claims are prepared and submitted with the support of a qualified Advocate. In honouring the sacrifices of our military personnel, we recognise the essential role advocacy plays in supporting serving members, veterans, ex-service personnel, and their families every step of the way.
Wellbeing Services
Our Wellbeing Support Officers can visit veterans in a range of settings, including:
• Private homes
• Hospitals
• Residential aged care facilities
Poppy Services can also be arranged for funeral services of ex-Service Members at the request of family members.
